Insurtech VIPR has announced the appointment of Chantal Dawson (pictured above) as the new global head of customer success, effective from August 1, 2024.

Based in London, Dawson will report directly to CEO Paul Templar. She brings substantial experience from her previous role as strategic client relations director at Charles Taylor, where she managed key relationships, including those with Lloyd’s / LIMOSS and users of the delegated data manager (DDM) platform.

Prior to this, she worked at WTW as business lead for e-Accounting and held a similar position at Aon.

With 15 years of experience in the insurance industry and 30 years in customer-focused roles, Dawson specialises in customer success and retention. Her expertise includes building strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and implementing effective strategies.

At VIPR, Dawson will be responsible for expanding the account management and customer success functions, ensuring that the company meets and exceeds the needs of its global customer base.

Her role was described as integral in the delegated authority sector, especially within the MGA space. Dawson's reputation for providing high-quality service and fostering collaboration is expected to play a key role in supporting VIPR's expansion.

Templar expressed enthusiasm about Dawson's appointment, noting her industry experience and track record of success as an ideal match for the company.

“We are excited to have Chantal join us at VIPR. Her industry experience and successful track record of achievement make her an ideal fit. Chantal will be key in driving our customer success initiatives and supporting our growth,” Templar said.

“I am delighted to join VIPR. Their performance over the past 15 years has been outstanding. I look forward to working with our customers to ensure VIPR meets their needs and exceeds their expectations,” Dawson said.
