Insurance software provider SchemeServe will have one less executive in its ranks as of today after announcing that COO John Price is leaving the company. According to a press release, Price is leaving for personal reasons and will “pursue new career challenges within the industry.”
As a result, SchemeServe is looking for a new COO as well as recruiting for additional roles as it prepares for growth. In the meantime, CEO Adam Bishop alongside the rest of the management team will cover Price’s responsibilities. The firm has also revealed the creation of a new advisory board that will offer feedback and help to shape its future.
“I’m leaving the business in great hands,” commented Price. “SchemeServe has gone from strength to strength over the past few years, and now is the right time for me to move on and pursue new challenges. I’m very proud of what we have achieved at SchemeServe and look forward to seeing the team here capitalise on that success.”
He added that SchemeServe has helped to level “the playing field for brokers in a booming schemes market,” though the insurance sector “has barely begun to scratch the surface of what can be achieved” in this field.
Meanwhile, Bishop said: “We’ve seen rapid growth at SchemeServe since we launched in 2010 and have continued that growth – a further 20% in the past 18 months alone. We now operate more than 270 schemes and £240 million of gross written premium per annum. I would personally like to thank John for his hard work and contribution in helping to lead SchemeServe to the exceptionally strong position we find ourselves in today. We wish him well in his future career.”
