Send Technology Solutions has partnered with special liability provider Bowhead Speciality Underwriters, marking the former’s first-ever US affiliation.
Through the partnership, Bowhead will use Send’s commercial insurance platform, which enables insurers worldwide to automate, streamline and optimise their operations. This allows Bowhead to “bring its insurance administration work out of silos into one solution and to easily view and track work through the entire lifecycle.”
The Send Underwriting Workbench is already used by a number of major UK carriers, but Ben Huckel (pictured above), co-founder and chief executive officer of Send, called the partnership a landmark deal with its first US customer.

New York-based Bowhead has already established itself as a significant participant in the US specialty insurance market in its specialty lines focused on professional liability cover, including directors and officers, management liability, errors and omissions, healthcare and casualty.
