Imagine not having to wait for your software provider to come back with all your requests either for a product rollout or for modifications. That’s what Genasys Technologies promises with its new product configuration suite for brokers, managing general agents, insurers, and start-up insurance businesses.
Called BUILD, the toolkit is aimed at empowering users by allowing them to create and modify products themselves. The result? Bringing new propositions to market – or applying changes, if necessary – quickly, as well as reduced cost.
Features of the fully cloud-based suite include a simple interface, which means less training requirements; real-time preview of configurations; the ability to capture test cases before product deployment; central repository of product configurations; and self-service account management.
“The UK market will be the first to benefit from what is our most powerful web-based insurance product configuration suite,” noted Genasys UK chief operating officer André Symes. “BUILD makes it as easy as possible to construct a product, complete quality assurance, test and roll it out with a few clicks rather than having to undertake complex configurations and coding.

Symes said the new offering allows anyone in the insurance value chain to create and modify product configurations without having to rely on software houses.
Headquartered in Johannesburg, Genasys Technologies opened its first international office in London earlier this year.
