While many insurance companies have been caught cold by the COVID-19 pandemic and have been ramping up their technological switch ever since, one MGA has already completed its second phase.
Glemham Underwriting Ltd, which specialises in property, liability and PI, has formed a partnership with software company Total Systems and sealed its second phase during July.
“We are delighted with the way the two teams have collaborated,” said Total Systems director of business development Rhys Collins. “The results speak for themselves.”
Those results include further automation and enhanced risk profiling, which optimises the new business application process. According to a company release, this will deliver improved services to customers while also boosting efficiency.
“Given the amount of change we’ve asked for, the speed and accuracy at which it has been delivered is impressive,” said Glemham managing director John Cross.“These unprecedented times have underlined the need to be able to react quickly to changing market conditions. It has also highlighted the need to provide our customers with digital solutions.”
