EIS, a digital platform provider for the insurance industry, has appointed Rupert Jarron to the role of managing director, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
In a company release, Jarron outlined his three shorter-term priorities as managing director: he will aggressively close deals in the current pipeline; he will help open up new markets for EIS; and he will scale up operations to match market desire through his extensive network of insurance sector contacts. In the long term, Jarron said that he aims to replace legacy competitors in major insurance players across each region.
“I am energised about the opportunity for EIS in the EMEA market. The timing and product offerings are spot on and the ability to hand-pick an elite team was ideal,” commented Jarron on his appointment. “Our aim is to shake up a market which until now has been if not unaware, then reticent to adopt the latest digital innovation. My goal is to put EIS in front of every possible potential customer and accelerate the transformation of the crucial insurance sector.”
Jarron joins EIS from DXC Technology, where he was previously the head of strategic engagement and sales for UK, Ireland, Israel, Middle East, and Africa. He also has experience serving blue chip tech companies such as Oracle, IBM, Hewlett Packard, and Compaq Computers.
“I have observed much of the market hanging fire on a full-throated commitment to digital transformation because solutions have been lacking,” said Jarron. “What brought me to EIS is how their solution - with its digital-first, coretech capabilities for customer-centred product and service innovation - is what the industry has longed for but was unable to find, until now.”
A release noted that Jarron will oversee the opening of EIS’s European headquarters office in December, located in the London insurance district.
