Specialist personal lines broker Ceta has announced a partnership with software solutions provider Open GI to enhance the range of products available on its platform.

The collaboration will integrate members of Open GI’s Mobius panel into Ceta’s existing platform via Mobius APIs, providing brokers with access to a broader array of insurance products.

Ceta, part of Atec, a top 20 UK insurance group, offers both retail and wholesale customers a selection of standard and non-standard specialist home and leisure insurance products. These services are supported by Ceta’s proprietary technology platform, which enables tailored insurance solutions.

James O’Hara, commercial director at Ceta, explained that the partnership aligns with the broker’s objective to enhance its systems and services.

“The technical architecture and APIs made it a very easy and a natural fit and has extended our capabilities and products without any disruption for our users,” O’Hara said. “Ceta brings main market sophistication to niche markets in its product development, pricing and digital led customer experience.”

He added that the partnership provides access to new insurance products and advanced features such as dynamic pricing tools, giving the company more control over its pricing strategy.

O’Hara noted that the collaboration reflects Ceta’s commitment to bringing “main market sophistication to niche markets” through its approach to product development, pricing, and digital customer experience. He confirmed that the platform’s enhanced capabilities would go live by the end of Q4, following support from Open GI throughout the evaluation, build, and delivery phases.

Neil Hart (pictured above), chief sales officer at Open GI, said the partnership has demonstrated the adaptability of the Mobius platform, which is designed to integrate with existing software and third-party services.

“We give people access to our network of incredible partners and providers, alongside granular control of their data, user journeys, and customer experience. For Ceta, that’s meant being able to extend their footprint and their digital support for new and existing customers,” Hart said.
