Aventus announced on Monday the appointment of two product owners, Mark Edwards (pictured above) and Aditya Mehan, to assist in development projects for clientele and to build an API-customer focused insurance network.
Edwards was a product owner at Statkraft Ltd and was previously a software engineer at SSP Ltd. He has a wide variety of expertise in dealing with engineers and stakeholders.
Meanwhile, Mehan has proven experience in different lines of businesses that include business analysis implementation consulting, product ownership and management. Mehan arrived from Capita Group and The Insurer Cloud.
Edwards and Mehan will lead the product engineering team in the development and delivery of new specifications to understand customer needs through the new API-first customisable SaaS system.

The hiring comes after the company’s implementation of a new underwriting system for brokers.
