Archipelago Risk Services has given its operations a boost with the rollout of a bespoke platform from insurance consulting and technology provider Xceedance.
The London-based managing general agent (MGA) now uses the new MGA Agility Suite to allow clients to purchase motor, home, investment property, travel, and pet insurance through intermediaries via a single platform that promises a quick and efficient journey.
Commenting on the recent deployment, Archipelago managing director Richard Coleman said: “The Xceedance MGA Agility Suite empowers us with highly-automated workflows and a streamlined policy lifecycle – boosting organisational efficiency, enhancing the policy buying experience, and lowering operating costs.”
According to Xceedance, the global software and services offering enables the likes of Archipelago to swiftly deploy a tailored, advisor-driven sales and service engine to capture profitable market segments. It combines policy-administration capabilities, an underwriting platform, distribution and communication tools, as well as business intelligence or reporting functionality.
“The Xceedance MGA Agility Suite provides software and associated services to support MGAs in insurance markets worldwide,” noted Travis MacMillian (pictured), chief business officer at Xceedance.
“MGA operations typically rely on software or platforms intended for primary insurers. In contrast, the dedicated MGA Agility Suite comprises an insurtech platform, coupled with lifecycle services for programme administrators, MGAs, and MGUs (managing general underwriters).”
