There is a new name at Applied Systems – but one that will be familiar to those who know the insurance software and broker management solutions market well.
The company has announced the appointment of former SSP sales director David Chapman to lead its European sales operations. He will take the official title of sales director of Applied Systems Europe and it set to lead its strategies and operations as it expands its business operations.
“I am thrilled to be joining Applied as the company significantly expands its European operations,” he said. “I look forward to leading this world-class sales team and delivering greater value to our industry with industry-leading technology and services.”
Chapman spent 18 years at SSP, most recently as director of account management leading client relationships in Europe, as well as across the US and Caribbean. He also held a host of sales and customer communication roles at the firm.
The swoop for Chapman follows on from the appointment of Andy Fairchild at CEO of Applied Systems Europe back in February – a move that has seen Fairchild further develop the company’s strategic direction. The move for Chapman is the latest example of this as he establishes the company’s executive team.
