Apollo has announced a long-term strategic partnership with WNS, a provider of digital-led business transformation and services.
WNS will offer bespoke solutions using technology, data and domain-focused resources to support Apollo’s third-party syndicate partnership business.
The partnership introduces the “Fast Start” solution, which allows Apollo to establish new Lloyd’s syndicates quickly. Once established, Apollo and its syndicate partners gain access to WNS’ talent.
The Fast Start solution has already been implemented for Africa Specialty Risk and NormanMax, two new syndicates launched by Apollo in 2024, and is ready to be deployed for additional syndicate partnerships.
Commenting on the announcement, Andrew Gray, syndicate partnerships director at Apollo, said the firm understands what it takes to be successful at Lloyd’s.
“Our partnership with WNS means that they can also now benefit from WNS’s technology and data solutions, in addition to their depth of skilled London Market resource,” he said. “These two elements combined make Apollo’s syndicate partnership offering truly unique at Lloyd’s.”
Last year, NormanMax Insurance Holdings launched Syndicate 3939, which is being managed by Apollo. The syndicate addresses the natural disaster protection gap using advanced data and technology to offer parametric solutions globally amid increasing climate risk and volatility.
Apollo Syndicate Management also launched the first captive syndicate of the modern era at Lloyd’s, which is in partnership with a major global client and is the latest development in the company’s efforts to expand its market offerings.
