SME insurance broker Superscript has added two leaders to its executive roster.
Part of what Superscript calls the “next major phase of accelerated growth,” the move sees the arrival of chief commercial officer Chris Barclay (pictured left) and chief technology and operations officer Tim Joslyn (pictured right).
Joslyn already came on board in July, while Barclay is joining the Lloyd’s brokerage next month.
“The SME economy is diverse and complex, requiring innovative technical solutions to meet insurance demands,” Superscript co-founder and chief executive Cameron Shearer said in an emailed release.
“With the addition of Chris and Tim, Superscript has never been in a stronger position to capture significant market share in the UK, and increasingly, beyond.”
Barclay, who will bring 23 years of industry know-how to Superscript, previously served as UK affinity head at Marsh. Joslyn, meanwhile, has more than two decades of financial technology expertise to his name.
“The experience and passion they bring in their respective fields further elevates Superscript as the challenger in business insurance, where technical and operational legacy is increasingly holding back the delivery of better customer experiences and better results for insurers,” Shearer said.
“Building on our success to date, we’re dedicated to driving significant advancements for both the insurance industry and our valued customers.”
