A new capacity partnership has been struck between Kent-based MGA Gresham Underwriting and Covéa Insurance.
The deal will see the insurer provide capacity for both salons and retail shops under its packaged policy wording for an initial three-year period.
“We are thrilled to be entering into this new partnership with Gresham Underwriting,” said Covéa commercial lines director Carolyn Callan. “We share the same core values of delivering an excellent customer experience and putting customers at the heart of all we do. I see this new opportunity as a key foothold in the first stage of our exciting journey with Gresham Underwriting.”
Meanwhile, the chief underwriting officer of the Tasker Insurance Group owned MGA, Rob Munden, described the insurer as a “fantastic partner.”
“We are excited about starting a long-term partnership with them with the retail and salons product, hopefully just the first of many,” he said. “Gresham seeks long-term partnerships with quality insurers to allow mutual growth and success and this partnership meets all of those requirements.”
