Covéa Insurance has concluded a nationwide series of broker roadshows to introduce its new commercial proposition, SME Experts.
The events, held across various regions during February and March 2025, attracted nearly 300 brokers. At these sessions, Covéa’s commercial leadership team outlined the company's growth plans for its commercial lines business and introduced brokers to the SME Experts initiative.
The new proposition focuses on providing brokers with expanded regional support, greater investment in electronic trading platforms, and streamlined renewal processes to facilitate easier interactions.
Additionally, Covéa announced product updates to its existing commercial property, fleet, and trades and professionals policies.
Covéa offers a suite of offerings to meet the needs of SMEs, including tradesman & professionals insurance, packaged offices and surgeries insurance, and packaged retail & salons insurance. These are accessible through platforms like Acturis and Covéa Insurance Online.
The firm’s SME policies offer core coverage across a variety of needs, including public and products liability; contents, money and personal assault, business interruption, and liability; and property damage, money and assault, business interruption, and liability.

Covéa recently received the highest accreditation from the Institute of Customer Service and forms part of one of Europe’s largest insurance and reinsurance groups, with a strong financial rating.
In 2023, Covéa Insurance reported earned premiums of €26.8 billion, reflecting an 18% increase from the previous year. The net income stood at €1.5 billion, underscoring the company's strong financial position. The solvency ratio was reported at 200%, indicating a solid capital base.
2023 also saw the company joining the Group for Autism, Insurance, Investment and Neurodiversity (GAIN) as part of its commitment to creating an inclusive workplace by taking action to support equal opportunities for all its workforce.
