Last August we told you that Tasker Insurance Group founder and then chief executive Paul Tasker was moving on to pursue other opportunities. Now, it turns out, those opportunities include being named managing director of REG (UK) Ltd.
The online due diligence and regulatory compliance platform has appointed Tasker to the newly created role effective immediately. He will be in charge of leading REG’s planned international expansion, as well as the rollout of a new service aimed at providing greater Delegated Underwriting Authority oversight.
“Having spent 25 years in the insurance industry, I’m well aware of REG’s growing reputation to deliver regtech solutions that are helping the industry to mitigate against regulatory and financial risk,” commented the new MD. “It is an exciting time to be joining Michael [Phair] and the team as we grow our global reach and the REG product suite in 2018. Key to this growth will be our ability to attract and retain the best digital talent globally.”
Tasker founded the Lloyd’s broker Tasker & Partners in 1999.
