Verisk has completed the acquisition of Rocket Enterprise Solutions GmbH, an insurtech company based in Germany that specialises in the property claims sector.
This acquisition further builds on Verisk's previous strategic investment in Rocket in 2022 and is aimed at expanding Verisk's presence in Europe. The move also aligns with Verisk's objective to assist insurers and claims service providers in adopting comprehensive data and technological tools, thereby improving the claims processing experience.
Following the acquisition, Rocket will become part of Verisk’s European claims solutions group and will be managed by Michael Rodenberg, Verisk’s director of property claims solutions in Germany. This move not only broadens Verisk's operations in Germany but also complements its existing portfolio in the region, which includes Actineo and Krug, leaders in the digitalisation and assessment of bodily injury and motor claims respectively.
Established in 2015, Rocket Enterprise Solutions GmbH (RES) is renowned for its property claims and underwriting technology, which has gained widespread adoption among major insurers and service providers in Germany and Austria. Rocket's solutions, including Rocketform and Rocket Risk, streamline the claims inspection, documentation, calculation, and risk assessment processes. These technologies have been instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting more informed underwriting decisions, ultimately boosting insurers' efficiency and profitability.
“Throughout our work together, we’ve seen enormous potential in Rocket’s ability to support clients’ digital transformation journeys. Rocket’s offerings and the team’s expertise are perfectly suited to enhance the digitalisation the industry needs to evolve,” Verisk Continental Europe claims solution managing director Samer Abou-Jaoudé said.
