McEwan becomes deputy head of delegated property, and brings with him more than two decades of experience. He has spent time at the likes of AXIS, leading the UK and European property unit, as well as at Equity Red Star at Lloyd’s.
Meanwhile, Harper becomes senior underwriter after spending close to 20 years in the industry, including 15 with Lloyd’s and AXIS. Farries becomes senior underwriter, having held positions with the likes of AXA, AXIS and Royal London Mutual in the past; while Tamsett becomes senior claims adjuster- delegated property, having also built up experience at AXIS. Whereas McEwan, Harper and Farries will report to Heath, Tamsett will report to head of international claims, Clive Jackson.
“I am delighted to welcome these new team members to Tokio Marine HCC,” said chief underwriting officer – London market division, Simon Button. “They have worked together over many years and bring with them an unrivalled level of knowledge and expertise. Adding these hires is an important step in building on the early success of our delegated property team.”
