Property specialist managing general agent One Commercial has formed a new partnership with SES Home Services – a provider of home emergency insurance as well as home repair services.
SES Home Services’ home emergency insurance offers cover for heating, plumbing, and drainage issues, as well as electrical and roofing emergencies. The unit operates as part of a wider group which includes the utility company SES Water.
The partnership with One Commercial will help provide operational and regulatory support services across the range of SES Home Services’ insurance products, a release said.
“Our virtual insurer model means we have the processes, procedures and capability to ensure full compliance and oversight of our partners' distribution approach,” said One Commercial managing director Gill Anderson, who added that One Commercial will also oversee SES’ regulatory responsibilities for the sale of its insurance products.
“We are managing the oversight of their responsibilities across both the product and distribution. This includes product value, customer documents, sales process, website content, staff training and premium flow and handling,” Anderson explained.
SES Home Services’ products will continue to be underwritten by DAS UK.
