Let Alliance, the let property specialist backed by managing general agent platform OneAdvent, has merged with HomeLet and Rentshield parent firm Barbon Insurance Group.
“Our merger with the Barbon Insurance Group is the next phase of the Let Alliance journey and our mission to support letting agents across the UK,” stated Let Alliance founder and chief executive Andy Halstead, who noted OneAdvent’s role and how it has been a strategic partner since day one.
The initial Let Alliance proposition was developed in 2010.
Halstead recalled: “OneAdvent’s established relationships with insurers, and access to insurance markets, allowed us to be taken seriously from launch.
“Thanks to OneAdvent, Let Alliance was able to compete with well-established competitors, and offer letting agents the best products available in the market.”
Meanwhile it’s been announced that the combined businesses will operate as brands of Barbon Holdings Limited under the leadership of group chief executive Martin Totty.
