According to Amazon, each partner for its insurance panel has been carefully picked, with the considerations spanning the ability to meet a standard level of cover, the time frames for claims handling and resolution, and delivering on what the e-commerce giant called its “high bar” for customer service.
As previously noted, more insurers will continue to be added to the Amazon Insurance Store.
Policy Expert chief operating officer Adam Powell commented: “Policy Expert has established an unrivalled track record of winning customer loyalty through fair pricing and exceptional customer service. We’re excited to add Amazon to our existing relationships and help even more people find affordable cover that meets their needs.”
Launched last October, the Amazon Insurance Store is accessible to home insurance buyers with an Amazon UK account.
