Manchester-based Reich Insurance has a new proposition for water treatment professionals, who the broker found are often unknowingly exposed due to a specific exclusion for legionella and efficacy.

Reich’s bespoke insurance package can include coverage for employers, public, and product liability; legionella outbreak; efficacy; professional indemnity; damage to items being worked on; business interruption; property – buildings, contents, money, and glass; vehicle, fleet, and goods in transit; cyber; as well as directors’ and officers’ liability.
In addition, the policy can be tailored to include insurance products for engineers, consultants, and companies who mainly deal with legionella risk assessments and water testing; cleaning and chlorination; pre-commission; and specialised cleaning.
