Taurai Ushe has made the switch from Willis Towers Watson to Chartered insurance broker Miller.
Now part of the UK professions team in his capacity as business development head, Ushe joins Ed Pickard who was recently appointed as head of the unit. Ushe, whose career started at Allianz, also brings experience from United Insurance Brokers and Hyperion Insurance Group.
Citing Miller’s solid reputation and forward-thinking strategy, the new business development head stated: “Ed and his team have experience from both an underwriting and broking perspective, meaning that they can truly understand clients’ needs and develop innovative solutions in response.”
Meanwhile Pickard described Ushe as “an excellent addition” given his extensive skillset and experience.
“His hire supports our ongoing efforts to help our clients navigate the market by combining a consultancy approach with market-leading expertise,” said the UK professions head.
