Laura Skaanild has made the switch from Willis Towers Watson – where she led the GB FI major accounts team – to serve as client director for professional and executive risk at global reinsurance, wholesale, and specialty broker Ed.
In her new role, the former Zurich coverage solicitor will be in charge of managing and developing Ed’s client base in the financial and professional services sector not only in the UK but also in the US and offshore financial centres.

The key arrival, who began her career as a solicitor at Barlow Lyde & Gilbert, brings 18 years of legal and insurance experience to Ed.
