EC3 Brokers has picked up a major name from Willis Towers Watson.
The company has welcomed John Collier as its new divisional director. He joined on April 01, reporting to head of broking James Murphy.
Collier brings with him more than 28 years of experience across the key professional lines of professional indemnity insurance, financial, directors and officers and IPOs. He has worked in partnership with UK and offshore investment managers, as well as overseas law firms and corporate service providers and, at Willis Towers, organised complex programmes for large international financial organisations.
Now, he is set to work alongside fellow divisional director of the international financial and professional lines division, David Purdy.
“This is a great opportunity for EC3 Brokers to advance in the international financial market,” said Collier. “I am delighted to be working with David as we combine our knowledge and expertise to grow the business further afield.”
EC3 Brokers CEO Danny Driscoll, meanwhile, said the appointment marked a “significant expansion.”
“His experience in the market enables him to design bespoke insurance policies for each of our clients,” he said. “We’re very pleased and excited to have him on board.”
