London-based Ben Ruddlesdin has been promoted from senior underwriter to head of professional indemnity (PI) & cyber for the UK at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance.
Ruddlesdin brings nearly a decade of industry experience to the post. His credentials include years spent at The Hartford.
In a release, UK head of executive and professional lines Jessica Kirby said: “Ben has been integral to the growth of our PI portfolio over the past three years.
“In his new role, he will work closely with executive underwriter David Harries and our exceptionally experienced team to take our PI presence to the next level, as we continue our growth into more primary and lead positions.”
The elevated PI expert came on board BHSI in January 2020.
