Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has tapped industry veteran Chris Warrior to lead directors & officers (D&O) liability underwriting in the UK and Ireland.
Based at BHSI’s London office, Warrior brings 36 years of commercial D&O experience both in terms of underwriting and broking. Most recently he served as London Market management liability focus group leader at Hiscox.
The head’s arrival means the expansion of the Boston-headquartered group’s European roster.

Meanwhile Vanessa Maxwell, UK & Ireland head of executive & professional lines at BHSI, described Warrior as “exceptionally qualified” to lead the insurer’s efforts to bring what she called “sophisticated and sustainable” D&O liability solutions to brokers and customers.
