Lloyd’s insurer ArgoGlobal has strengthened its professional indemnity team with the appointment of Paul Harris as a new underwriter.
Harris takes up his new role with immediate effect, reporting to James McPartland, professional indemnity class underwriter.
“The demand for specialist professional indemnity cover is growing, and insureds are increasingly aware of the need to safeguard their businesses and intellectual property,” he said.
“We have identified clear opportunities to expand our presence in this sector by developing synergies across the Group and by working with our broking partners,” McPartland added.
Harris brings more than 10 years of underwriting experience to ArgoGlobal. He joins from
Starr Companies, where he served as a professional indemnity underwriter.
Harris started his career at RBS Insurance, where he served as a technical home underwriter. He later held the role of assistant professional indemnity underwriter at
AmTrust at Lloyd’s.
