Insurance group Jensten, which last month made its biggest acquisition since 2018 and is preparing to announce further transactions, has appointed Matthew Gibson as M&A director.
“We are delighted to welcome Matthew to Jensten to lead our M&A strategy,” Jensten chief financial officer Ed Hannan said in an emailed release. “His experience in the industry, approach to the acquisition process, and proven track record of delivering deals make him the ideal person to take on this strategically important role.
“There are many opportunities to acquire great businesses. Matthew’s appointment is a sign of our confidence in the strength of our proposition to brokers and our ability to continue achieving deal success.”
Gibson joins from The Ardonagh Group where he was in charge of Ardonagh Advisory’s mergers and acquisitions for the past three years. His previous roles include M&A director of Ethos Broking.
