Aston Lark Group has announced its latest acquisition – the purchase of Hornchurch-based Essex Insurance Brokers Ltd (EIB).
EIB, which was established in 1964, serves both personal and business clients nationwide, with a particular focus on the film and visual arts insurance sector, which complements the services of Aston Lark’s performance film & media brand.
Director of EIB, Neil Harle commented: “For many years we have competed with Aston Lark’s Performance Film & Media brand for film insurance business. Now we join forces, which is good news for us and even better news for our clients.”
Fellow director, Beverley Harle, added that Aston Lark is the “perfect partner with the ideal pedigree” for the business and that the EIB team is confident that its next chapter will be an excellent opportunity for the most important people in the business – its clients and staff.
Meanwhile, Peter Blanc, Aston Lark group CEO, said he was delighted to welcome the directors to Aston Lark.
“We are seeing significant growth in our film and media book and I am really proud of the specialist knowledge we have in our growing team,” he said. “The addition of Essex is perfect and broadens our capability even further.”
