Howden-owned insurance broker Aston Lark will soon be trading using its parent’s branding. It’s been revealed that the Aston Lark name will be dropped on October 2.
The imminent rebrand comes nearly two years since Howden’s announcement of its major swoop, which became official in April 2022.
Chief executive Peter Blanc, who alluded to the rebrand in a previous interview with Insurance Business, commented: “[It] will be sad to see the Lark bird fly away for the last time, but it’s very exciting to be finally rebranding as part of Howden Group Holdings – one of the largest privately owned independent insurance brokers in the world.”
Acquired by Howden from Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Bowmark Capital, Aston Lark came to life with the merger of Aston Scott and Lark Group in 2017.
