Becoming the latest insurance business proving it has no intention of slowing down in 2022, Aston Lark has today announced its acquisition of Mainstay Insurance (Mainstay). Hove-based Mainstay was founded in 2013 by managing director Richard Gorrill (pictured) and offers bespoke commercial insurance and risk management solutions, specialising in the leisure industry, property owners and professional indemnity. It boasts a team of specialists with an in-depth knowledge of these industry sectors.
Commenting on the deal, Peter Blanc, Aston Lark group CEO, said: “Richard and his team have a fantastic reputation and I’m delighted that they chose Aston Lark for their future home. Welcome aboard.”
In a Press release, Gorrill added that Mainstay has developed a significant reputation throughout its years of operation for being a broker that provides great service while retaining a personal touch. He noted that this has allowed the business to generate strong client retention levels within its loyal customer base.
