Ardonagh Europe has announced the completion of its acquisition of Léons Group, an independent, family-owned insurance brokerage and consultancy firm headquartered in Amsterdam.
Founded in 1951, Léons provides full-service insurance solutions to corporate clients with specialisation in international operations and complex cases. It is a founding member of Brokerslink, a global network of independent brokers across 125 countries.
As part of Ardonagh Europe, Léons will continue to operate independently under the leadership of Sunny and Nico Léons, together with the current management team. The Léons family will maintain a stake in the group as part of the transaction.

We are very excited by what we can achieve with our new partners in the Netherlands.”
In December 2021 The Ardonagh Group announced its acquisition of MDS Group, another Brokerslink member and leading insurance broker with roots across the Portuguese-speaking world and Europe.
