Marine insurer UK P&I Club will be hosting live webinars aimed at keeping maritime professionals up to date with training requirements and industry issues even as we practise social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The series will kick off on April 02, with the first episode tackling the practical and legal issues of bunker fuel quality. The webinar is open not only to members of the club, and the link to the registration page can be found on the insurer’s website.
“Our sector, like many others, is currently facing some very challenging circumstances, and as a club we are always trying to embrace and develop new methods of reaching members and the broader maritime community,” said UK P&I Club loss prevention director Stuart Edmonston.
“These webinars provide unique opportunities to hear from experts in their fields, deepen collaborative knowledge around the burning topics in our industry, and stimulate debate and innovation.”
The first webinar will feature UK P&I Club risk assessor Ansuman Ghosh and Rajah & Tann partner Kendall Tan. It will be moderated by senior loss prevention advisor Anuj Velankar.
