Independent London Market insurance broker AG has expanded its P&I (protection and indemnity) team with the appointment of Paul Cole.
The P&I and marine liability veteran, who has worked in the sector for over two decades, previously served as director at marine brokerage BMS Harris & Dixon and was with
Aon Risk Solutions for 13 years. Cole started his career in the underwriting department of a P&I Club.
“AG is a respected independent brand in the marketplace, and I’m confident that I’ll be able to add a lot of value to AG and help the company to meet its strategic objectives,” said Cole. “P&I is a key area of focus for AG and we’re looking to develop our client base in this area of the market as we move into 2018.”
AG chief operating officer Simon Parsliffe described Cole as a “key addition” to the team as the firm continues to invest in growth and identifying experienced talent with something different to offer.
“Paul will significantly boost our P&I expertise and strength in depth, and our clients will benefit from that,” commented Parsliffe.
