Vista Insurance Brokers Ltd has appointed Samuel Marriott (pictured above) as the head of Vista Protect, the health and life insurance division.

The brokerage highlighted this move in alignment with Vista's strategy to enhance sales growth, focusing on group life, health, and business survival insurance for its clients.

Samuel Marriott joins Vista from Towergate Insurance, bringing over a decade of experience in the protection and health insurance sector. Marriott has established a strong reputation within the industry.

In his new role, he expressed enthusiasm about the prospects for Vista Protect, stating that Vista aims to break away from traditional insurance norms by offering a fresh approach.

“Vista won’t be following the insurance norm, we have the opportunity to start from scratch and provide a new approach. Vista will have multi-skilled advisors for all insurances and the client journey will be our absolute focus.  Breaking the mould won’t be easy but with support from the wider Vista team I am confident we will succeed,” Marriott said.

Vista's CEO, Gavin Ruben, noted that Marriott's appointment is a strategic addition to the company, bringing new opportunities and services to Vista's clients. He emphasised that this area is a key part of Vista's growth strategy.

“Sam is another great appointment for Vista. His experience will bring in lots of new opportunities and a new and much needed service for Vista clients. As part of our growth strategy this is a key area and one I am excited to see flourish,” Ruben said.
