Premier Choice Healthcare (PCH), the Brown & Brown-owned health insurance intermediary, has expanded its operations by acquiring 100% of the share capital of Buckinghamshire-based Homewood Health Ltd and the health insurance portfolio of Margaret Clark in Peterborough.
Both Homewood Health and Margaret Clark's portfolio are known for their consumer and business healthcare insurance offerings. Following these acquisitions, Andrew Needham, director of Homewood Health, and Margaret Clark will join PCH as ambassadors. In their new roles, they will contribute their industry knowledge and experience to the PCH team.
“As well as giving us two well-established and thriving books of business, these two deals will enable us to continue to build out our ambassador program. The program gives our very experienced intermediaries the opportunity to stay involved, maintain strong relationships with existing customers, and help develop the less experienced members in our team,” PCH managing director Stephen Hough said.
Needham also shared his perspective on joining PCH, expressing enthusiasm about the opportunity to continue contributing to the industry while alleviating the pressures of daily business management.
Clark also commented on her long-standing respect for PCH, acknowledging their professionalism, service focus, and progressive strategy in the private medical insurance (PMI) sector.
“I look forward to playing my part in helping the team to further develop their market presence in this exciting part of the insurance sector,” she said.
The acquisitions have been completed, although the financial details of the transactions have not been disclosed.
In other recent developments, the health insurance intermediary also announced its acquisition of Healthcover, marking the 10th deal for the firm.
