According to a company statement, Trigg’s efforts will focus on delivering these services to clients across both the public and private healthcare sectors.
Triggs comes to Marsh McLennan from Aon, where she has been serving as the UK health and social care industry leader since 2022. With over 28 years of experience in insurance underwriting, broking, claims, and health and safety leadership roles, Triggs brings a wealth of expertise in health, social care, and the third sector to her new position, according to Marsh McLennan.
“Sarah is widely recognised as one of the industry’s foremost advisors on the unique risks that the UK health and social care sector currently faces,” said Beresford-Davies. “Her deep understanding of these challenges and opportunities will be crucial in supporting Marsh McLennan’s clients navigate the huge dynamics associated with the UK’s healthcare landscape.”
Christopher Bailey, UK region leader at Marsh Mercer Benefits, added, “Having such a talented and experienced healthcare industry leader as Sarah at Marsh McLennan will allow us to create innovative new solutions at a time when people risk is top of our clients’ corporate agendas. Sarah’s deep understanding of the sector will help bring together the healthcare supply chain and tackle the societal challenges of access to care.”
Marsh McLennan’s strategic appointment of Triggs underscores the firm’s commitment to enhancing its service offerings and addressing the evolving needs of the healthcare sector in the UK.
