The employee benefits provider Unum UK has today announced its appointment of Hiscox UK CEO Jon Dye (pictured) as an independent non-executive director (NED).
Dye - who joined Hiscox UK as CEO in September 2022 - is a long-standing insurance leader, having held several senior roles in the sector including serving as Allianz UK CEO for eight years. In a Press release, Unum UK noted that he brings extensive board and board sub-committee experience as an executive, including as chair of the Association of British Insurers (ABI).
Commenting on the appointment, Mark Till, CEO of Unum UK said: “Jon is a recognised and respected leader in the insurance industry with a strong record of delivering significant change in business scale, structure and capability. We are looking forward to working together on Unum UK’s values-driven strategy and growth ambitions.”
