It’s official: Richard Norris (pictured) has been appointed as general manager for business specialist products at Bupa UK Insurance after serving in an interim capacity since September 2022.
“I’m delighted to be taking on this role permanently and look forward to continuing to build on our ‘Better for Business’ strategy,” said Norris in an emailed release.
“With our market-leading proposition, innovative digital capabilities, and by delivering our ambition to be the most trusted health and wellbeing partner for businesses in the UK and the partner of choice for brokers, I believe we can further strengthen our position as market leader.”
Norris is supported by corporate director Will Shaw and distribution director Iain McMillan.
“Richard is passionate about making Bupa a great place to work, leading a diverse team where everyone is heard, included, feels a strong sense of belonging, and can flourish,” noted Bupa UK Insurance chief executive Alex Perry.
“His extensive experience will see him well-placed to drive growth and further strengthen our position in the market, enhancing our capability to build strong relationships with intermediaries and our business customers.”
An AXA PPP Healthcare alumnus, Norris has been with Bupa since 2011. His UK insurance industry experience spans more than two decades.
