Personal injury solicitor Minster Law has unveiled plans to expand its jurisdictional reach by introducing Minster Law Scotland, a sister company based in Glasgow.
Marina Harper, a seasoned professional with over 17 years of exclusive experience in personal injury law within the Scottish market and what the company described as a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape, has been appointed as the executive director of the new Scottish venture.
Expressing her enthusiasm about the role, Harper said that being at the forefront of Minster Law’s customer-centric approach in Scotland to support some of the top motor insurance brands is an exciting prospect.
“Glasgow has a well-established legal services sector, which is crucial to ensuring we build a team made up of the very best talent in the market. It is also a vibrant hub for many major UK insurers and brokers, so it’s the ideal location from which to serve the needs of both our customers and business partners,” Harper said.
Meanwhile, Minster Law CEO Shirley Woolham touted the Scottish operation as a response to the needs of customers and business partners, while Harper’s appointment stands as its response to the company’s market ambition.
“Our new Scottish capability will bring an additional and important dimension to our proposition for UK insurers and brokers and underlines our continuing commitment to the insurance-led RTA personal injury market. The new business will mirror our cohesive values-driven approach to legal services and I’m confident will play a big part in driving our continued success,” Woolham said.
Earlier this year, the insurance legal firm also announced that it will be providing legal support to around one million motor insurance policyholders and six million roadside members of the AA in an exclusive five-year partnership.
