Sedgwick, whose swoop for Cunningham Lindsey meant also getting its hands on EFI Global, has bolstered the engineering, fire investigation, environmental health and safety, and specialty services consulting division with key hires.
Beefing up EFI Global in the UK are Aime Harrison, John Colquhoun, and Mark Ian Ross. Harrison, a geotechnical engineer and expert witness backed by over 18 years of experience, will serve as forensic investigations head while Colquhoun and Ross both assume the position of forensic investigator.
“We look forward to driving Sedgwick’s growth in the UK market with these appointments,” commented Sarah Civil, Sedgwick corporate risks and specialist practice groups director in London. “The team will play significant roles in maximising value for our existing and potential new clients by delivering high-quality services and using their technical expertise to mitigate losses, reduce costs, and respond quickly.”
Electrical engineer Colquhoun brings with him specialist know-how in the investigation and analysis of fires and explosions, engineering failures, and personal injuries. Ross, on the other hand, is a fire and explosion investigator highly skilled in determining fires’ and explosions’ origin and cause, examining physical evidence, and providing expert opinions.
“Our team’s technical expertise, combined with the latest technology and outstanding service for which EFI Global is well-known, will highlight our technical excellence and provide a new platform that will help us to grow our UK business,” noted Civil.
EFI Global has operated as a successful US consultancy for more than four decades before Cunningham Lindsey, which has taken on the Sedgwick brand name, brought it across the pond.
