Miller Insurance has recruited
Integro producer broker Ian Blick to manage and develop its energy facultative book of business.
Blick will work mostly with the London team and Neil Higgins, Miller’s head of facultative reinsurance in the UK capital.
“We pride ourselves on our industry knowledge and depth of experience, and Ian, along with our recent hires in the facultative property team, adds significantly to Miller’s facultative capabilities as a whole,” Higgins said.
“Our commitment to excellence will ensure we continue to help our clients achieve their business objectives,” he added.
Blick has specialised in global energy and heavy industry facultative retrocession business during his career of nearly 20 years. Before joining Integro, he worked for major brokers
Aon and Guy Carpenter.
Blick’s hiring follows many other senior appointments earlier this year. In April, Miller appointed former Arthur J.
Gallagher executive David Maule to a business production and senior broking role.
