ISC Group, a not-for-profit association dedicated to promoting professional growth for women in insurance, has appointed Azy Razvi as strategic advisor and company secretary.
A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Razvi brings more than two decades of experience within the UK and international insurance markets to her new roles.
As strategic advisor, Razvi will work closely with the chief executive and the board of directors, applying her considerable expertise to spearhead strategic projects and improve organisational efficiency.
Razvi’s key responsibilities will involve strategic finance to position ISC Group for ongoing expansion and market insights provision to keep the company at the forefront of global industry trends. Prior to her dual appointment, she held the position of ISC Group’s finance director from January of last year.
Aside from her advisory remit, the Liberty Specialty Markets alumnus will also serve as company secretary during board meetings, where she will oversee compliance with regulatory standards and promote effective governance across the company’s operations globally.
Reflecting on her new functions, Razvi said: “I am excited to continue my journey with the ISC in this new role. ISC has gone from strength to strength since I joined in January 2023 with an experienced board and an expanded senior management team who continue to develop and deliver the ISC offering.
“I look forward to working closely with the CEO and board of directors of this purpose-driven organisation striving for greater representation of women in senior leadership roles in the insurance industry.”
