US-headquartered cyber insurance provider Resilience is paving the way for international growth by making key appointments for the UK and Europe.
As part of its expansion, Resilience is installing a London-based international head of distribution and strategy in the person of Jack Jenner, who most recently served as group chief operating officer at Orient Insurance in Dubai. Jenner’s more than two decades of international insurance experience includes time spent at Allianz and Zurich.
Also joining the roster in Britain are Rehan Hussain as underwriting head for Europe, UK, and Lloyd’s; Tom Ryan as lead underwriter for the UK; and Tom Egglestone as international claims leader for the UK and Europe. They made the switch from Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, Chubb, and Tokio Marine Kiln, respectively.
Meanwhile, Resilience, which provides cybersecurity solutions as well, has also bolstered its security team in line with the expansion in the UK. Tapped to serve as cyber advisory lead is Simon West, who brings over 25 years of global security risk management experience across government, military, and civil agencies.
“Our new hires’ extensive experience and relationships in the UK and European marketplace ensures our international expansion is launched from a position of strength,” stated Resilience president Mario Vitale.
“I am thrilled to welcome such an impressive group of leaders to the team. Their track record of innovative thinking is exactly the approach we need to set the new security standard for cyber risk and redefine what it means to be cyber-resilient.”
Aside from its San Francisco headquarters and London office, Resilience also has premises in New York, Baltimore, and Toronto.
