QBE Europe has revamped its cyber portfolio leadership with the announcement of internal hires.
Former cyber portfolio manager Erica Kofie, who came onboard in 2017, now serves as head of cyber proposition for QBE Europe. She will be in charge of supporting the delivery of cyber growth plans and developing solutions across various geographies and segments, said QBE Europe in an emailed release.
Meanwhile, taking over Kofie’s place is David Warr, who was cyber & TMT (technology, media, and telecommunications) underwriting manager prior to serving as acting portfolio manager and being subsequently promoted. He joined QBE in 2016.
“Through 2022 we successfully delivered significant growth, which reflects the depth and strength of our cyber team,” highlighted QBE International financial lines director Jamie Thompson. “We continue to see cyber as a key opportunity, and the strengthening of our leadership team will help facilitate this growth aspiration and support customers with market leading propositions.
“These appointments are yet further testament to the great pipeline of talent we have within our business, having filled several senior leadership positions internally this year.”
