As part of Marsh Specialty’s new global cyber insurance centre, Shannan Fort (pictured) has been appointed as international cyber product leader in London.
“Cyber risk remains an urgent, volatile, and evolving challenge to our clients’ enterprises and their resiliency; many organisations continue to strive towards building effective and efficient cyber risk mitigation and insurance programmes that will protect their people and assets in the event of a critical cyber event,” global cyber insurance centre leader Gregory Eskins said in a release.
“Shannan will play a central role in advancing cyber risk management and insurance solutions in support of our clients’ need to address these rapidly evolving cyber threats, and capitalise on the possibilities presented by new and emerging technologies.”
An Aon alumnus with more than 16 years of international experience, Fort will be joining from McGill and Partners on April 1. Her previous roles include cyber product development leader.
At Marsh, the key hire will focus on product innovation and commercialisation while working closely with the wider group’s cyber risk experts to support clients. The broking giant’s global cyber insurance centre was launched on January 1.
