JMG Group has partnered with managed security services provider Precursor Security to offer bolstered cyber protection to the brokerage’s commercial insurance clients.
The collaboration will grant businesses access to Precursor’s scanning technology aimed at evaluating a company’s digital infrastructure to pinpoint vulnerabilities and potential entry points for cyber threats. The scan results enable the creation of customised cyber liability insurance policies, tailored to each firm’s specific needs and offering more favourable financial terms.

As part of the partnership, insurers will apply rating reductions for clients who employ Precursor’s cybersecurity services, supporting the proactive defence strategy. Additionally, clients will benefit from round-the-clock support and incident response in the event of a cyberattack, ensuring comprehensive cyber protection.

The partnership comes on the heels of Alex Craven’s appointment as group placement director.
