Jonathan Olley, a former Marsh senior vice president in London, has come on board Lloyd’s wholesale brokerage Costero Brokers as cyber divisional director.
“I am absolutely delighted to join the Costero team at a very exciting time for both the business and the wider cyber insurance industry,” Olley, who had served in the British Army and worked for a risk management consultancy, said in a release.
“I look forward to working alongside highly professional, entrepreneurial, and experienced colleagues to grow a comprehensive cyber broking capability.”
Commenting on the appointment, Costero chief executive John Tallarida cited Olley’s wealth of knowledge, which includes expertise in open-market cyber and tech E&O (errors and omissions) programmes.
“His depth of experience and entrepreneurial approach to this complicated space will undoubtedly prove most valuable to our clients and team,” Tallarida said.
“We are excited to have Jonathan on board and are confident that under his leadership, our cyber division will thrive and deliver exceptional results.”
