Trilogy Managing General Agents Ltd has a new offering for the UK construction sector.
Backed by Great American International Insurance DAC as capacity provider, Trilogy’s freshly launched product has policy limits of up to £10 million and features comprehensive coverage for most building, civil, and engineering trades.
The MGA added that significant casualty cover is available through its panel of insurers.
“In developing our UK construction product, we are responding to a real market need and delivering the products our brokers want,” noted Simon Stokoe, strategic development manager at Trilogy.
Describing itself as having “a strong appetite for UK construction risks,” the intermediary pointed to a contraction in the capacity available from existing carriers in the class.
“We see real opportunities where we can deploy our technical underwriting skills and knowledge to add real value to the market,” said Stokoe. “Working alongside high-quality capacity providers like Great American, I expect Trilogy to be making more announcements of new partnerships and product offerings throughout the year.”
Meanwhile Alec McFarlane, UK construction underwriting manager at Great American International Insurance DAC, commented that the firm is delighted to be working with the MGA.
“Trilogy has an outstanding underwriting team able to offer to the highest service standards, and we have no doubt there will be significant demand for this product,” he said.
