Managing general agent Touchstone Underwriting is celebrating a significant accomplishment by senior underwriter Becky Jones, who has launched her book The Construction Industry: Hazards and Risk Management.

Now available on Amazon, the guide provides in-depth insights into the various risks that construction professionals encounter and serves as a valuable resource for underwriters, brokers, and other insurance professionals in the construction sector.

In her book, Jones draws from her extensive 20-year career in insurance, focussing on the complex risk landscape of construction projects. Her expertise has earned her the title of “construction guru” among her peers.

As a senior underwriter at Touchstone Underwriting, Jones has honed a specialised understanding of construction-related hazards and the insurance challenges that accompany them.

“We are honoured to support Becky in sharing her wealth of knowledge with the broader industry,” said deputy managing director Mike Patston. “Her deep understanding and practical insights are sure to serve as valuable tools for professionals dedicated to managing construction-related risks efficiently and confidently.”

According to the MGA, Jones’s passion for writing was reignited during the pandemic, inspiring her to create a practical training guide aimed at professionals looking to deepen their knowledge and adopt more effective risk management practices within the construction sector.

Touchstone Underwriting encourages brokers and their clients to explore the comprehensive resource, highlighting its potential to support both experienced practitioners and those new to construction insurance.
